Daily Jammin'
Each day the Fifth Graders show up at the Band Room at 8:15 to get started on their Music experiences.

The 2005-2006 school year was one of the most successful years for
fifth-graders ever. By the end of the year they were able to play
a half-hour concert by themselves, no help from older students.
Our next group of Band Room visitors was sixth-through eighth graders,
on alternating days, some beginners, and some who had been away from
Music experiences for a while. We did a lot of catch-up at this
time.
Our advanced Middle School students did a great job this year, working
on some very difficult material, with rhythms which were all over the
place. They worked hard and achieved success, as was obvious in
our end-of year concert.
Our small High School group met daily, and we were jammin'.
Personnel changed through the course of the year, and we ended up with
no clarinets or trumpets! However, the Middle School kids dropped
by as often as they could, and made the High School students feel good
about their music.
