An Ethonobotanical Report
My name is Janet Hallowell, I'm 16 years old and a Junior at Omaha Nation High School. I don't know how to pronounce my indian name but it means "good thunder woman." I am part of the thunder clan. My parents are Cornelius and Benal Hallowell. I have one brother and one sister. My dad's parents are Delia Freemont and Earl Hallowell. My mom's parent's are Lavina Whitehawk-Walker and Benjamin Walker.
I like to read a lot, write poetry, hang out with my frineds, play video games with my little brother Whitehawk and my sister Leta. I like to play kickball with my cousins and my family. I'm pretty much a quiet person and I don't get around much like my classmates do. But when I do go out it's either with my family or my friends. I like to keep to myself most of the time so I don't have as many frineds.
The only sport I like is volleyball. I don't like basketball as much as my sister Leta, but I do play basketball every now and then. I would like to learn how to play tennis because I think I'll be good at it.
After I graduate from high school I plan to go to college. I hope to go to a college some place far away from the rez. I'm hope to go to a college some where in Canada because I'd like to see different places and different people.
