StoryCorps is an independent nonprofit project whose mission is to honor and celebrate one anothers lives through listening. They did some recording in Macy, Nebraska in the Umonhon Language and Culture Center huthaga.

Great story by Tim Gallagher about Oliver Parish Saunsoci and Justin Saunsoci who go through football warmups, then play in the band, then sing the Omaha Flag Song before football games.

Umonhon Nation returns to the Lakota Nation Invitational Basketball Tournament in Rapid City, SD in December, 2008. One of the original members of the 16-team tournament (as Macy Public School), the team had not been there for 30 years.

Students attend the rededication of the Chief Big Elk gravesite in Bellevue, Nebraska in May, 2007.

The Shonga Ska horse program at Omaha Nation helps students control emotions and anger.
