Senior Class '08 Page

Senior Prank '08

On Thursday, May 1 the Class of '08 decided to "stick a fork in it" prior to the presentation of their Senior Portfolios.

I got to be the first school person to see their creativity.  The class members were great about the prank...including cleaning up early in the afternoon.  Sytrofoam cups spell out the 'Fork It '08', and the signs near the sidewalk say, 'Stick a Fork In It.'  For the record, there are over 1000 plastic forks in the front lawn, placed there sometime between 2:00 and 4:00 AM, according to the school video cameras.

Yes, Class of '08...it's there for eternity.  So, CD, KC, RW, CC, and AA, you did a nice job. Non-destructive, clever pranking. (And although the staff had a 'pool' going for who would offer creative spelling on the fence, at 1:30 pm when the wind began to tear the display apart, no one had violated the display.)  In a final act of leadership, numerous Seniors helped unpoke the lawn.

If you were thinking about going up to the Dollar Store in Winnebago for picnic supplies...you might want to think again. There is a temporary shortage of disposable tableware.

Thanks for making us smile!
