2006 Nebraska Native American Basketball Tournament

The Lady Chiefs and Chiefs basketball teams brought home hardware from the 2006 Nebraska Native American Basketball Tournament held in Winnebago, January 19-21, 2006.

The girls defeated Walthill 52-42 on Thursday night before falling to the South Sioux City Freshman Lady Cardinals in the championship game.  The girls, behind the coaching of Robert Stoner and Mike Fehringer, claimed the second place plaque.



The Chiefs raised their season record to 10-3 with a 55-46 victory over Walthill in the opening round and a championship win over Santee 65-48 on Saturday night.  Boys coaches are Brad Vogt, Broderick Steed and Dennis Totten.
