Where is your blind spot?
2nd Place
2nd Place
Purpose
To
see if the Blind spot is different for people who wear glasses, who need them,
and need them but don≠t wear them.Hypothesis
To
test to see if there really is a big difference or if the blind spot is the
same in every person.Materials and Procedure
Eye
chart, Ruler, different people with or without glasses.- Prepare the Materials
- Get the chart read
- Go and test some of my friends who have glasses, contacts, or those who don≠t wear them at all
- Then I will tell them to hold the chart eye level and to close there left eye while concentrating there right eye on the dot when they lose the X they will tell me and stop moving the chart
- Then I mark the distance of both eyes and then find the average
Conclusion
- There was no real significant difference between the numbers.
- The only one that showed that there could maybe be a difference was with the people who need glasses and did not wear them.
- When we broke it down though we found that it had enough support to show that it had no difference between the other groups.
With
the data I had it showed no significant difference, if I had all 20 though I
have concluded there would have been.
