What you need for science class...

Every student needs to bring a writing utensil to class everyday.  A writing utensil is defined as a  pencil or a blue or black pen.

Along with that writing utensil every students needs to bring their  book (biology, physical science, anatomy), notebook (biology), and folder to class everyday.  Afterall, it is hard to learn anything if you do not come prepared to learn!

New for the 2006-2007 School Year:
Every student needs a pencil bag with several pencils and pens in it as well as a solar powered calculator.  I have talked to several students and they estimate their pen/pencil usage for a whole year of school to be between 50 and 100 pens/pencils.  Please plan accordingly.  They also need to bring a large brown paper sack to cover their book.  (No one will receive a book until they have a brown paper sack to make a book cover). Physical Science students will need to bring 650  3 x 5 index cards to use in class.  A loose leaf ring will be provided.  Please make sure everything is  clearly marked with you name. Third period  (and possibly 7th period)  students will also need to purchase a three ring binder to use in class.

Optional items...
Students also might want to purchase highlighter tape which can be used to highlight section in their book and then be removed without damaging the book.  Colored pencils are provided but if students want they could purchase their own.  Students would also benefit from the purchase of a single-hole punch as well

Miss Klein will generously supply each student with a folder and notebook (for biology only) using her own money.
