Information about Student Council
WHAT IS STUDENT COUNCIL? Student Council is the official representative
of the Omaha Nation High School body.
The role of the Student Council is to develop leadership skills and
encourage a strong commitment to upholding the principles of a civil society
and responsible government. Leadership and organizational development are acquired through the planning and
implementation of programming we provide to the school and through our
participation at State and District Conventions. Weekly meetings are held to discuss events and current
activities. During the 2006-2007
academic year the council will have 16 members.
