A Little Poetry

A Little Poetry

Some old, some new, but all mine

Glory

There is nothing fond about absence
A heart feels empty no substance

The light from your eyes brighten
My emotion and spirit heighten

Love grows as the day continues
It is breathtaking whatever venue

Words spoken don't tell the story
Feelings show our love, our glory

Loneliness of Women

There are those who deny the fact
Spending every night with one
Still you spend every night alone
Making the choice you say it's yours
Why the constant seeking of him?
The underlying search for him
The times you found him you missed him
He was the one lacking, according to whom
Missed again, thinking for others not you
After you settle, oh yeah, you will
Remember him and think about him
That will be the only company you have
Wrong, the kids are gone now what?
Stop checking, the phone is working fine
Stay away from the window no ones coming

My Love (You now, Now you)

You now wait for it, don't run
You now hide; it's not of any help
You now try escaping it
You now are grabbed, latched
You now are surrounded by
Your person in now engulfed
Now you smell of it, sniff
Now you look of it, see
Now you sound of it, hear
Now you feel of it, touch
Now you breathe of it, inhale

Passion Prayer

As we are bombarded with the story of your passion, We take this time to thank our God and your father for his. So passionate that he sacrificed you his only son so that we may have life everlasting. So on this glorious day we thank you Heavenly Father for the resurrection and for allowing us to bear witness to the unsurpassed greatness of your power. We also thank you for allowing us to share this meal and this day with family and friends. Amen.

Sinful Pleasures?

Can it master my soul?
Not in my life maybe that of mine
The apple so sweet is thy fruit
Eve saw the serpent, couldn't see the core
Feelings so natural, so wrong, so good
How could I say, how could you say no?
The warmth of the chill spreads over me
Softness of cotton plants, of clouds
No it is the aroma, the taste of you
It≠s chocolate or is it ice cream?
Listen and you can hear it calling
Not the rustling of fall leaves
It is the wind of beauty sweeping over you
It passes with you; I try to get a glimpse
Can it be; love is so transparent now?
Only seeing the rightness of the wrong

Some Things In Passing

Some things are seen clearly
Some things are seen unclear
Some things are seen to be true
Some things are seen to be false
Some things are seen from afar
Some things are seen from near
Some things are seen in passing
In passing she was so beautiful
In passing she caught my eye
In passing a glance became a stare
In passing a hello became a conversation
In passing I fell for her smile
In passing she became a constant
In passing I saw some things

Follow Your Senses

Life too short and not promised
Continue to search for nothing
The realness of me is not new
Find it within you the chance
Take it or continue the game
There are no winners? You lose!
Loneliness is more work than worth
Fulfillment so simple, so available
Avoidance is a strategy of fear
You hear me, you see me, you feel me?

My Love (You now, Now you)

You now wait for it, don't run
You now hide; it's not of any help
You now try escaping it
You now are grabbed, latched
You now are surrounded by
Your person in now engulfed
Now you smell of it, sniff
Now you look of it, see
Now you sound of it, hear
Now you feel of it, touch
Now you breathe of it, inhale

That Place Where Love Lives

Where feelings unfamiliar can scare you
Where it is predictable and unpredictable
Where the comfort is a gentle calmness
Where we still try to avoid confused chaos
I found the place where they meet
That place no more than a phone call
That place no more than a short drive
That place where life seems glorious
That place where only I can visit, Mmmm
You know, that place where love lives

Imagine

Don't imagine that that is not good
Just imagine that that is so so good

Imagine the arms that hold you tight
Not the ones that are absent at night

Never imagine the things that hurt
Imagine the smile the wink of a flirt

Can you imagine what feelings are the best?
Imagine, your neck and the warmth of breath

Should you imagine just once an image of me
Imagine what it should, what it could be
